NetBackup 7.0.1 backing up VMs on ESXi 4.1 on NFS

Hey guys, I am a newbie yet on NetBackup and have runto some issues with backup performance in our environment, and wonder what some of you are doing or seeing. I can't believe I am the only one trying to run flashbackup-windows of my VMs running on ESXi 4.1 where the VM lives on NFS. Can you tell me what your performance has been running this type of job?

We are getting horriable throughput in the 1-2MB/s range.

In one of my environments I have a small NetApp FAS2020 with a dozen VMs or so on it.  Last night my jobs ranged from 15,000 to 20,000 KB/second according to NetBackup.  I haven't done any performance tuning or anything special, just set it up and it worked.

To higlight if this is related to NFS or something else. Move/Copy a VM to internal storage and compare the speed you get from that backup to the rest.
