Hi everyone,
I'm currently checking on the feasibility of an existing NetBackup 7.5 customer to move to IPv6 as part of the company initiative. I come across this note
http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO70444
stating that "Migration from IPv4 to IPv6 and vice versa is not supported". Can anyone clarify what exactly does that statement meant? Have any of you done this transition before?
Thanks!

I followed some of the Technotes and my conclusion is that it has something to do when the Netbackup master server is configured in a cluster. If the customer does not use a master server cluster it should not cause any problems other those already mentioned in the release note under IPv6.
