It's available now, as of a few days ago, Aug 4th, I believe.

I've updated my appliances to 7.6.0.3, but when I am trying to use them to set up a new client, my only options to download from them is 7.6.0.1.  I've downloaded the client software and gone through the process of opening the share on the appliance, copying it over to the appliance, list downloaded, close share, etc., but it still doesn't show.  Am I missing a step or can I just not use the appliance as a download spot for 7.6.0.3?

Chris

I see 2012R2 is now supported as a Master / Media and OpsCenter server and there is a special full download installer for Master and Media.

However - i do not see a full download for 2012R2 OpsCenter Server (Windows I am looking for) - I have tested quickly on a machine that does not have OpsCenter installed and it does not look like the 7.6.0.3 will install straight off.

Is there a specific method to install a 2012R2 OpsCenter server? (Dont have one handy to test!)

Thanks

Hi Mark,

Sorry for the late reply.  I believe the answer is you just use the 7.6.0.1 installer as if it were any other Windows as there IS no separate installer for 2012 R2 for OpsCenter.  (You will just need to immediately apply the 7.6.0.3 maintenance release on top of it to be supported.)

Can someone running 7.6.0.3 on Windows check to see if libstspizapi.dll exists, and if so, is it a non-zero size?  Please?

Hi backupguy2014,

It's supposed to be zero bytes.  (It's actually supposed to no longer exist at all, and that library was removed in the UNIX versions of 7.6.0.3, but due to the way our patching works, we needed to put a zero-byte placeholder in there for Windows.)

This library isn't used by NetBackup as far as I know.  (I should probably say "is no longer used by NetBackup," but I don't believe it ever was.)
