NetBackup 7.6.0.4 needs to be upgraded

Hello all,

I have a few customers which are running NetBackup 7.6.0.4 (Windows).
They also have vSphere 5.5 and would like to upgrade to vSphere 6.0.

Since NetBackup supports vSphere 6.0 from version 7.6.1.1, I would like to
hear your thoughts to what version I should upgrade them to: 7.6.1.x or 7.7.x.
I am mostly interested in stability and not new features.

Please specify the exact version and the reason.

You absolutely want to go for NBU 7.7 as of NBU 7.6 will be end of support February 2017.

7.7.3 is out. Why not go for the latest version? All 7.7.x up to 7.7.2 bugs have been fixed in 7.7.3.
