To download 7.6.1.2, please visit the following page:
This is a MAINTENANCE Release for NetBackup (as opposed to a Release Update) - it can ONLY be applied on top of NetBackup 7.6.1 or 7.6.1.1. (If you are currently running 7.0, 7.0.1, 7.1, 7.1.0.x, 7.5, 7.5.0.x OR 7.6.0.x, you will need to upgrade to 7.6.1 GA before you can apply 7.6.1.2.)
This is a CUMULATIVE release - it contains all 7.6.1.1 fixes and will do not need to apply 7.6.1.1 if you intend to apply 7.6.1.2.
To check to see if your particular Etrack is resolved in NetBackup 7.6.1.2, please refer to these Release Notes and our updated EEB guide:

I think that there probably is some confusion due to the recent degraded redesign of the KB...instead of having links visble inline where they should be one has to now go click on the "Attachments" link, get a pop-up window, and browse that.
Whomever is in charge of the UI for the KB should be lashed with a wet noodle and told that change for the sake of change is never a good thing. The new redesign also means that links don't have the context that they used to have when they were in-line in the article.

whoaaaa...
I could have watched this pages for ages, and still didn't notice the 'attachment' link.
Not sure if I like this new design.. :)
Anyway.. thanks for your help

Anyone have any guesses when 7.7 is going to be released?
07-03-2015 10:17 PM
Looks like the compatibility lists have recently been updated to start referencing v7.7:

...so perhaps it won't be too long before v7.7 is released.

It appears the OpsCenter links for Solaris SPARC are not working. This is disappointing.

Ahhh... it seems to indicate that the appliance upgrade won't be available until 2.7.1(7.7.1)? That's kind of a bummer since a lot of my environment are appliances. I guess I'll have to wait patiently until 2.7.1 and 7.7.1 are released to upgrade.

Hi CRZ,
A quick question here, my master is 7.6.0.3 and my AIX client is the same version. Got an issue (http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH228048) with our AIX client and told by Symantec support to upgrade to version 7.6.1.2. Is it possible if we only upgrade our AIX client without upgrade the master version?
Thank you

Master and media servers need to be at 7.6.1 or higher in order to support 7.6.1.2 client.
See Version Compatibility TN: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH29677
