Hi,
i want to change the catalog location from default to an individual point. Therefore i used the articel http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH135546 . As difference to this articel i created the ALTPATH file in the root C:\Program Files\VERITAS\NetBackup\db\images not in every subfolder of any client. I use NetBackup to backup a large vmware environment, so i would change the location for all clients not for individual clients.
Is there a manual or workaround to change the location?

This TN seems to indicate that mount point and/or junction is supported: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH215597
Please ensure that you are on 7.6.0.2 or later to ensure these paths are backed up by the catalog backup.

ALTPATH directly under images will not work.
The file needs to be in each client folder.
The alternative is to mount the new disk as a folder.
