NetBackup 9.1 - Exclude storage Disks - Linux

Hi,

I'm trying to create a NetBackup Policy (standard) to backup only  the file systems mounted in internal disks.

My Redhat server has internal disks and some external disks (storage disks).

I already tried in backup selections "/" and all file systems are backed-up, internal and storage mounted file systems.

Is there a way to backup only the internal disks?

Thanks

Hi @SilvioReis1

Netbackup does not know if a disk is internal or external (SAN based).

You can however use a exclude_list to limit a backup selection.

See more about exclude_lists in  : https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100016246

It does mean you will likely need two policies to backup internal disk and external disk.
