NetBackup Enterprise and Data Domain

I understand there are some features not supported if we were to target DataDomain for NetBackup Enterprise backups.

One fearture I was told is that if we used DataDomain as a target, we cannot do is Auto Image Replication (AIR)

Are there any other features that are not supported ?

For now, only "Optimized Duplication"(Opt_Dup) feature is supported on Data Domain.

You won't see the benefits of Data Domain's deduplication when duplicating images using AIR, but it can still be done.  The Data domain will simply have to rehydrate the data before it duplicates the data to the replication target, and then the target will deduplicate the data again.  Not efficient, but if you are not replicating a lot of data via AIR, it may work well enough for you to use it for now and reap the AIR benefits once the DD OST plugin supports it (later this year, 2012?).
