I'm new to my company's backup process and this product (details below). It appears that one of our jobs that ran last night was partially successful, due to the fact that it began writing and trying to open various Cisco Security Agent files, as shown in the details. Access was denied. Any suggestions please?
Netbackup Version: 6.5.6
Platform: MS Server 2003
Note: I've removed the server name intentionally (i.e. - <server name>)

Add C:\Program Files\Cisco Systems\CSAgent\bin to your exclusions?
11-30-2010 12:34 PM
...so cannot comment whether the should be required. Can you ask the admin who deals with this client as to whether these files are actually required to be saved? If they are not required, you could exclude them to get rid of the EC1's.
Do you know whether you have WOFB enabled for this client? If not, enabling it may allow them to be saved.
Windows Open File Backup - under Host Properties -> Master Servers -> master server -> Client Attributes (or similar, as doing this from memory & I'm getting on a bit now!) Use VSS if appropriate to your client OS. If client isn't in that list, then add it - it will use VSP by default otherwise.

Chris, thank you. I think we're going to add the exclusion tomorrow to see if that resolves this for the CSA files.
Andy, I'm not sure if WOFB is enabled for this client. I will check. Thank you for the suggestions gents!
