NetBackup Media Servers / VCB Proxy / VMFS

Hi

I was just wondering if people could share there techiques in protecting live VMFS Luns that are presented to NetBackup media/Proxy server

I currently use Windows 2003 x64 media/VCB proxy servers with Storage Foundation and have about 100 luns presented to each server.

Is there any ways to ensure these LUNs cannot get initialised for the NetBackup server and therefore destory the VMFS Lun. If i was using Windows volume manager, i would use disk part but i can find a way in SFW

Do you mean you dont want netbackup to use the luns for VCB backups?
or
Do you mean you dont want to install netbackup media server on those luns?
or
You dont want the luns to be presented as drives from the OS perspective?

Here is the VMWare doc to disable auto drive assignment on the proxy server.
