NetBackup NEVC License CPU Limit

Hi All,

I've been told that NetBackup Enterprise Virtual Client model is limited to no more than 100 CPUs, per customer, across all NetBackup domains.

Can anyone please confirm if this information is still accurate ?

AFAIK yes, but as many similar posts here suggest, you should address this question to your Veritas reseller for official answer.

The 8.0 licensing guide clearly documents this limitation, but our local SE tols us that the limitation was removed subsequently.

The 8.1.2 licensing no longer says anything about cpu/core limitation.

Best to double-check with your local reseller or Veritas SE.
