GRT Disabled. Backup for "AllWebs", with GRT enabled works fine.

I am seeing the same error message with my SharePoint Farm backups.

Microsoft SharePoint Resources:\*

My log files have the same errors and it is also the PowerPoint Service that it fails on.

I have been having this error in NBU 7.5, 7.5.0.3 and I am still seeing it having just upgraded to 7.5.0.4.

My SharePoint environment is built on Windows Server 2008 R2.

Having hunted around I saw some EEB for NBU 7.1 but nothing since.

Does anyone have any solution to this problem please?

Was it working fine before?

Did you followed Admin Guide on pre-reqs of User required with necessary permissions?

Also if Farm consist of 3 tier make sure you have correct mappings done under Master server host properties-> Distributed application mappings

Also make sure NBU client service are running with this privileged account

Check if you are able to do network registry from Front end server to back end DB

Can you please upload the bpbkar.log from sql backend server?

Mean while you can also add the failing object in the exclude list and make the backups go through until we find out the solution of the issue.
