Hello:
I have problems with restore job, the message is :
NetBackup VMware policy restore error (_2820_)
The Vmware is 5.5 and netbackup 7.7. If i try to recuperate a image executed yesterday, i dont have problems, but when i try to restore a older backup, this job failed with status 2820.
Thanks, Regards.

Can you give us a little more info? What's the guest operating system, does the target have an agent installed, where are you restoring from, etc.? There are several things that can lead to a 2820. Perhaps post the job details?

Restore failed due to failure to create the virtual machine
So I'd check vCenter first on this. I've seen this happen when you try to use SAN as the restore medium and the system doesn't have access to the datastore via SAN.
Check the application log on the recovery host to see if there was a crash reported for direction on where else to look.
I've also seen problems with removable devices -- given this is Windows 7 you're trying to restore, that could be tripping you up, too.
