NetBackup configuration does not exists on windows registry

My NetBackup 7.5 Master server running on windows 2008 R2 gives following errors as I open the nbconsole 

  • EMM Service will not start, getting status 334
  • EMM interface initialization failed in Windows or Java Admin Console or status 77
  • Unable to connect to the EMM Server

I followed this link to resolve this https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.TECH83777

But then I found HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VERITAS\NetBackup\CurrentVersion\Config is not exists in my windows registry

I suggest you log a call with VEritas.  I suspect that something nasty has happened to the server, and you will be looking at catalog recovery, to get things working again.

Yes sure, And I already tried to repair the Netbackup 7.5 But does not worked for me. And what about the patching with next available maintainance release, since we are unable to do anything related to EMM.

NetBackup Config is appeared on windows registry as I upgrade to 7.5.0.1

But still it is unable to connect to EMM server.

And got the following error as well

  • [Error] V-111-1049 EMMServer generic error = Schema version mismatch. expected <7.5.0.1> Db <7.1.0.4>

From a command prompt, change to the <install_path>\veritas\netbackup\bin\ directory, and run:
nbdb_upgrade -v
 
Then run: 
nbdb_upgrade -dbn NBDB
