Hi there,
It's the NBU version when the backup image was created.

Hi,
Hmm, but I have version 8.2 on the master server as well as all media servers and I don't have version 7.6.0 anywhere.
I have version 8.2 on the master server since July 18, 2019, before that I had version 8.1.1 and I changed the master server, new HW, new installation of OS RHEL 7.5, new installation of NetBackup, new OpsCenter server at the beginning of 2019.
I have a retention of 1 month and however, there is a "V7.6.0" version for each image

Hi,
I don't think its related to your actual NetBackup version installed, it is like because of The version of the image data format..so it is about the format of the output and on which version it was added/updated.. so I believe the last time that format was changed was 7.6.0/1 .. and if veritas changes it in the future, it will be the version on which they implemented the change..

Agree, I think it is the data format version, not actual Netbackup version.
Before Netbackup 7.6 image headers was located in /usr/openv/netbackup/db, but migrated to EMM during upgrade to NBU 7.5 (phase 1) and NBU 7.6. (phase 2). I persume 7.6.0 indicate the headers are to be found in the EMM database and not as flat files as with previous versions of Netackup (pre 7.5).
