Netback Cluster Shared Volumen For Remote desktop (No HyperV)

Shoghi

Hi to all

We are deploying a RDS farm in windows 2012r2 using VHD disk for user profiles, we are using a clustered shared volumen for profiles (everything ok with the farm), we had tried to backup the cluster using the ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES directive but after the drive C has been backed up the job fail, if we select the volumen path c:\clusterstorage\volume1 nothing is backed up, cross mount point option is selected.

Is this configuration supported?, are we doing something wrong? perhaps we are missing something...

We are using NB 7.7.3

Thanks in advance

IMHO, using Hyper-V policy type (Enterprise Client license) will be your best option.

Is this about UPD vhd files ? Is curious as we soon will have those for a RDS solution.

Thinking the problem could be that netbackup is not allowed access to the files because another process have them locked like the issue with pst file for outlook.

The standard questions: Have you checked: 1) What has changed. 2) The manual 3) If there are any tech notes or VOX posts regarding the issue
