Netbackup 6.5.1 volume pools

Hi,

I have volume pool with 10 media disk, but backup always write on 6 disk and 4 disk is unsigned, last backup overwrite on old backup which retantion period is already old, how can i use this 4 media ?

Please give some clarifications on your query:-

Whats your exact configuration?
Are the backups going to disk or tape?
Is your concern volume pools or disk pools?

Looking at your question, it is really not clear how your netbackup is configured.

What is the fragmentsize set on storage unit pertaining to particular volume pool?
what is size of data being  backed up?
