Netbackup 6.5.4 handle SharePoint server 2007

I used all windows based server as Web Front end server (W2003 R2, SP2), Media server (W2003 R2, SP2),Master server (W2003 R2, 64 bits), SQL server on VM servers.

Q1. Would someone explain what is the back-end reason of NFS componement requirement install on SQL server & media server, please ?
If possible, I would like some expert to explain the back-end backup flow which it runs for handle SharePoint 2007 server backup.

I tried:
1. Media server - enable NFS component and set automatic service.
2. Master server - Edit client and master server under host Properties
3. install Netbackup agent on front-end SharePoint server
4. Storage unit - use "disk" type

- All above step follow "Veritas Netbackup for Microsoft SharePoint Server Admin Guide. 6.5.4

(Except SQL server does not enable NFS component yet)

We get error {scheduler found no backups due to run(200)} when it run backup. I am thinking whether it may due to SQL server not install NFS feature.
If I follow that error code, it said it relate not enable Single -Sign on service - which my SharePoint Administrator does not want it to enable such service.

Q2. Whether SQL server need to install NFS for fix this issue ?

Q3. My above setup which want to achieve:  Backup once and able restore for inidividual item delete, I could restore it individually.  Granular Recovery Technnology. (GRT)
What is your suggestion to handle it ?

NFS is only needed for file-level restore, not for the backup.

Would you explain slight on your wording. I check Veritas NetBackup™ for Microsoft SharePoint Server Administrator’s Guide Rel. 6.5.4.

On Chapter 3, it request NFS for Granular Recovery Technology (GRT).

For my backup purpose, I need full site and individual item backup and restore. From doc, it seems I can achieve to handle both things on a single policy.

The technote that Marianne quoted was for the following versions of NBU: 
          NetBackup Enterprise Server 6.5, 6.5.1, 6.5.2

In addition that technote was last updated in Aug 2008.  Since you are asking about version 6.5.4, I doubt that this technote is relevant.
