Netbackup 6.5.6 Volume Shadow copy issues

Hi.

I get these errors consistenly on this server. The status is 13. It seems to not be able to use shadow copy but every time I chedk the writers everything is working fine.

The agent is as up to date as it can get.

The target box is a win 2008 sql server.

What else should I do? Does anybody have any advice?

But make sure you are using VSS not VSP (Master Server Host Properties - Client Attributes section, add the client in and set the option in the Windows Open Files section)

Also think about upgrading to 7.1.0.3 to fully support all Operating Systems effectively and get rid of VSP all together

Looks like I need an EEB for this to update 6.5.6 properly.

That required Symantec supervision as well as they would need to provide the download right?

The company I'm assisting is between support contracts with Symantec right now, but it should be reinstated soon enough. Is there anything else I need to know?

You will need them to be in support to get the EEB as you will need to raise a case in order to obtain it, as they would to upgrade to V7 or V7.1

It should be straight forward enough after than, they usually only contain one or two binaries
