Here bmrd process is bare metal restore master server. Looks like you have enabled Bare metal Restore option in your policy for disaster recovery. Is this intended?

If you do not want to BMR protect your client then you can disable this option from your policy. When this option is ticked, for each client in your policy, first job trigged will be BMR configuration backup of your client; followed by actual data backup. As there are more number of clients in your policy, BMR simultaneous backup is taking load. It is recommeded to have max 5 parallel BMR backup jobs. You can schedule your policy accordingly.

Or as said, if BMR backup is not intended then please remove the option from your policy.

Thanks.

I backup OS.So i must tick this BMR option. Now the probles is the backup job has finished,But the bmrd is also running and has so high cpu load.

Every 0:00-8:00  backup job run. But the bmrd is at very high cpu load all day.

OK. So you need BMR on.

Can you try having simultaneous 5 clients backup max?

Looks like you are running with 7.0.1 NB version. Is it same for clients as well? Do you have windows clients? Out of 180 how many are win clients?

Thanks.

180 clients all  suse linux sp2 and nbu 7.0.1.                I use many policies to backup OS at same begining time. How can i control the  simultaneous ?and the requirement is backup os incrementally every day.

So if you have grouped the client backup selections into different policies; can you change the begining time of the policies slightly so that each the policies will be triggered one by one after some time interval gap. Around 4-5 mins gap between two policies looks good to try out.

Thanks.

Thanks. Can I use "rc.bmrd restart" ? When I execute this, bmrd is OK as  normal cpu load.
