I have seen the same issue in several NetBackup environments and have not been able to solve this on my own. I opened a case so I hope the support will find a solutions soon. I have also see status 13 when using client side dedup have you seen that problem in your environment?
Perhaps far-fetched, but are those 64-bit? Looking at the compatibility list, only 32-bit Windows XP is supported. The log entries would suggest that the necessary DLLs are not available, so perhaps a 64-bit workstation/laptop?
These are not 64-bit, still 32-bit. I'm also getting a couple of error code 87s and some systems continue going into incomplete and retrying with error code 14's after writing for awhile. It also seems to happen with those who have hundreds of small files on their system which seems unusual but could cause a delay if it was attempting to conjoin and segment.
I haven't received any notification back from symantec on the case yet after they gathered logs; been a couple of weeks now so it'll be interesting if they find an issue in code.
