Netbackup 7.0.1 error

Hi all I have install the new Netbackup 7 realese and now i try to work with my backup

I see on the Details tab this error

The backup run Successfully but I see this
 
Can some one have any Idea?
 
Other Now my backup failed with status code 83 on Puredisk pool

Hey guys,

I was able to fix this by turning off checkpoint backups in the policy. ended up being that the jobs would always fail on a checkpoint boundary (for me 15 minutes). so it would fail at 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes etc.

I'm working with support to figure out why checkpoints cause this, but the workaround to turn it off is working great so far!

that you have emboldened? (i.e.you are 'happy' why you are getting the other errors regarding Microsoft.NET\Framework files & RSM etc & maybe the shadow copy errors?)

The only reference I have been able to find so far regarding this is a search for the error 2060057:

nbdevconfig fails with "RDSM has encountered an issue with STS where the server was not found: getStorageServerInfo"

I'm seeing the same type of errors on several clients.  Environment is NBU 7.0.1 from end to end.  It appears to be an inability to enable the client-side deduplication capability due to some type of communication failure between the client and the media server.

The two articles cited suggest missing files, but that seems pretty far-fetched.

I think we're going to see more posts about this type of error, as there's more going on than meets the eye.

Check name resolutions(DNS, hosts file) on each NetBackup servers and clients.

i agree with Yasuhisa, it looks like a name resolution error.. Add host entries on both your OST server and the backup masters and media servers to see how this acts..

 

Also what kind of OST are you using? DataDomain? Puredisk?

I'm seeing the same errors on 7.01.  I've created entries in the hosts files, and still no luck... Did anyone find a concrete solution to this problem yet?

I had the same problem with this error Client Direct plugin not available, I had storage server disk pool configured etc... what i did to fix that  was create a  media server deduplication pool.   The disk pool i had configured was the default poool.  That will fix that for sure.

i was able to fix these errors after starting the netbackup proxy service.   i added the login credentials and now everything is working. 
 
What pointed me to that was the nbostpxy log directory was not getting populated with any data.

Also to  make sure run this command on  your media server
