Netbackup 7.0 Agent installation on Linux release 5.5

well i m trying to install Netbackup 7.0 Agent on my linux machine with Kernal version 2.6 and release 5.5 64bit but i m unable to install it.

i m getting the error for compatibility issue. can any one guide me for that.

File /tmp/install_trace.26524 contains a trace of this install.
That file can be deleted after you are sure the install was successful.

Could we get the contents of your trace?

Linux5.5_32_64.JPG  shows prodapps02 is runnging with 32bit PAE kernel.

I guess prodapps01 is also running with 32 bit kernel that NetBackup 7.0 does not support.

Take a screenshot of "uname -a" on the prdapps01 server, as that's the server you're trying to install NBU 7 onto. Your screenshots don't have that server in them.

99% of the time, the error you are getting is from the client being a 32 bit client, which NBU 7 doesn't support.
