MAPI Mailbox backups are only supported on Exchange 2007 and earlier.

Configure GRT for Exchange 2010.

Please see the NBU for Exchange Server Admin Guide  http://www.symantec.com/docs/DOC3669 .

Also have a look the NBU for Exchange Videos: http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO41825

On the client enable debug log [install_path]/netbackup/logs/bpfis, this debug log contain info about snapshots creation process. Also set "Verbose" to 5 in the troubleshooting tab in the BAR GUI.

Not use the MAPI configuration because not supported on Exchange 2010, and I use the Exchange 2010.

On client bpfis is active with verbose 5 and on the log I have only status code 130:

Hi,

Ok, check your VSS writers > vssadmin list writers

Also check the application event logs on the passive node to see if there are any errors coming up when the backup is attempted, in fact, look for any activity relating to VSS.

Did you set the client name in the policy as the DAG name?

Did you have installed NFS Services on all the machines : physical nodes, CAS servers, and so on

Did you have installed NBU Client binaries on both CAS Servers and DAG physical nodes?

Done all wath you say install all client on exch, dag, cas ecc....

You never reported on the VSS writers and the event viewer logs from the passive node.
