we are planning to upgrade NBU master from 7.1.0.4 to 7.5.0.6.Got a few questions someone may help me. thanks advance.
1. should we suspend the scheduling or deactivate all polies during upgrade? what is the recommandation from Symantec?
2. for all running jobs, should we kill all of them or suspend then resume them before and after upgrade?

Deactivate all SLPs.
Deactivate all policies.
Deactivate all disk staging storage units
are the things that needs to take care while upgrading...

there is a catalog chage in the Netbackup 7.5 and the catalog migration do happen when the netbackup is upgraded to 7.5 .
there is no other backups should start before compleating the migration phase..
read the netbackup 7.5 upgrade doc from the below link providec by Marianne to understand about the catalog chage and the migration process..
