Netbackup 7.7.2 admin console login error 526

Hi Admins,

I recently installed Netbackup 7.7.2 on one of the Linux 6.8 server. Am trying to connect to the Admin console of this server but am getting the error code 526 when trying to connect to it. I tried connecting to this by installing also from a remote windows server by installing admin console on it but still had no luck.

[root@nbu-master1 netbackup]# more version
HARDWARE LINUX_RH_X86
VERSION NetBackup 7.7.2
RELEASEDATE Mon Jan 11 18:16:41 CST 2016
BUILDNUMBER 20160111

There is no firewall blocking the connections.

Please help.

Reason for status 526:
Cannot connect to the bpjava authentication service via NetBackup PBX at port 1556 (default).

Have you checked and confirmed that all services/daemons are running on the master? Especially pbx?

What about the OS firewall?
Is iptables stopped and disabled?
