Hi team,
I believe you are aware of the bug in Ntebackup 7.7.3
https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.000109333
I will install the EEB, However I am looking for command line work around. I tried bpplschedrep <policy-name> <sched-label> -0 <start time in seconds(11 PM)> <duration in seconds(7 hours)>
But i am getting overlap schedule error. Any suggestions

Correct. the TN that you posted (https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.000109333 ) is quite clear about that:
Hotfix information:
Veritas Bug ID: ET 3890255 & 3893300
Version: NetBackup_7.7.3
Installation Location: server (ET 3890255), standalone console (ET 3893300)

I already tried the workaround it didn't work so thought of trying it from command line and eliminate the JAVA GUI completely.

The TN mentions 2 possible workarounds. Which one did not work?

2?, Are you referring as installing EEB as the other work around, if yes then I haven't tried that yet, getting it approved, However meanwhile I want to change the window, How can I?

The workaround is to delete schedule and re-create it:
>deleting and re-creating the Calendar schedule with the desired window should work.
but you showed that you tried to modify schedule with bpplschedrep command. You need to use bpplsched command

Hello @Sid1987,
Please use the following command to set the backup window until get the EEB installed.
Do let me know in case of any issues.
bpplschedrep Policy1 schedule1 -pool pool1 -rl 2 -mpxmax 32 -cal 1 -incl date -5 68400 43200
-5 is a day
68400 and 43200 are seconds , you may have to covert your hours to seconds to set the start and end timings.

Even after implementing the EEB I am unable to change the schedule.

Hi @Sid1987,
Are you able to upgrade from NBU 7.7.3 to 8.0? Maybe it can solve your problem, once that you already have applied the EEBs and workarounds.

Actually there are 2 EEB's for this issue, one on master server and one needs to installed on the server running java gui(standalone).
