Netbackup 7.7 Master Server Migration

Greetings,

    I am using Netbackup 7.7 on a Windows 2008 R2 Server and it is the master server. There are no other mater or media servers. What I would like to do is create a new Server (2012R2 since 7.7 can not be used on Server 2016) and migrate the master server from the 2008 to the 2012 box. I found a few artiles but when I click on the links, they are no good. Can anyone point me in the right direction to any articles that can help with the migration process.

If you do the migration according to this technote https://www.veritas.com/content/support/en_US/article.100022623.html you have a high chance to do it successfully. Just remember the important invariants such as catalog paths, system names and patch levels must be the same

you can migrate to Windows 2016 but you must upgrade existing Master Server to a version 8.0 or higher.

    Sadly we no longer have support and the last version available to use at the time was version 7.7 so I am stuck using 2012R2.
