Hello Everybody
Has Netbackup 7.xx any kind of native deduplication?
If positive, which deduplication rate could reach ?
Thanks

Yes it has MSDP. Deduplication rate could be 100% depending on what is being backed up.
If backup say file 1 on server a and file 2 on server b, if the contents of file 1 and file 2 are the same then the same "pieces" will not be backed up twice!

What type of data you're planning to backup? MSPD can dedupe flatfile systems( FS/Datashare), NDMP with streamhandlers, MS-SQL, DB2, MS-Exchange, Oracle.
Do you currently use NetBackup? Which version?

PS: NBU 7.0 is more than 4 years old.
The most current version is 7.6.0.1 with lots of dedupe enhancements (and other features).
