Hello zeeshanopel,

Try to check media server services and also check the below two command output.

vmoprcmd -d or tpconfig -l

Mostly this issue related with no drives are available for this job, check the dive connectivity.

Hello

I would have started with scan command on the media server which sees this drive, to make sure this tape drive is visible on media server. Than run the tpconfig -d and vmoprcmd as well bpstulist -U

Your error stands for:

bperror -S 2001
No drives are available for this job
A job requested a tape drive, but no eligible drive path was configured for the job.

so not sure where is the issue... Please provide outcomes from all above commands... path to these commands is <installdir>\volmgr\bin

Please help

Hi @zeeshanopel

NetBackup isn't really designed to operate with standalone tape drives (much prefers robotic libraries).

Anyway - it can be made to work - have a look at this article to see if it helps: https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100030155
