I have a client and we are assessing the backup environment and if they adhere to the 3-2-1 rule.
They are currently running netbackup 8.1 with NBU 5230 appliances.General disk space is an issues and they want to strategically move away from tape to an immutable cloud option.
I am recommending that they upgrade to 8.3 however I wanted to understand what good options are available to make backup copies to the cloud and be fully integrated with the immutability.
Example: copy to the cloud with 6 months retention and the data cannot be deleted until it expires.
If anyone has any links or advice on options that would be great.
