Netbackup 8 vmware plugin, starting failed

i'm testing the vmware plugin for netbackup 8 and when the appliance i have a message ( in attachment)

my infrastructure is vmware 6.0 U2 in a cluster mode

somebody know the maintenance password for the plugin ?

Are you referring to  'NetBackup virtual appliance VM' (plug-in host)?

The VM seem to have a bad disk or corrupt file system, which is not really related to NetBackup.

There is no default password. You choose a root password during installation.

If this is a new deployment, it is probably best to scrap this VM and start again.

Hello Marianne, I tried several times the deployment of the virtual machine. I also tried to download the appliance again.I still have the same problem.

So if you have retried the download and installation, then you know what root paasword you have chosen, right?

What happens if you enter the password and perform fsck in single user mode?

Have you checked for underlying disk problem?

If you feel there is something wrong with the downloaded image, then please log a Support call with Veritas.

I think you need to know the root password for the CentOS machine.
