Netbackup Admin Console issues - Status 505, Status 526 and others

Hello,

I am having some issues opening up the NBU admin console. The issue is intermittent or will work for a few minutes then lose connection. Its difficult to pin down the issue because Im getting different status errors almost every time i try to open the console. Ive attached screenshots of the different status errors Ive received.

I am currently running Netbackup 8.0.

To me the problem is that not all processes required are running. Things like nbatd, nbpem, nbemm for starters. It's been a while since I've looked closely at a NetBackup 8.0 master to know what processes need to be running, but you aint got enough. 

My first suggestion is to stop and restart services (potentially even rebooting the server). If there are still issues, then you may need to track down why particular services aren't starting (reviewing log files). You could always log a support call for further assistance from Veritas.

I agree with David. Please shutdown NetBackup on this host. Stop and restart vxpbx_exchanged then start all other NBU services. Watch as all processes start up. The list you provided isn't all the necessary services/processes that need to be up and running for a fully functional NBU host.

May I also suggest that you upgrade from 8.0? There are many improvements since the release of 8.0x.
