Netbackup Agent 8.3 installed failed

We use the Netbackup agent 8.3 , install on the AIX 7.X

There are some error when installed package 

   Package VRTSpddea found.

NetBackup Deduplication preinstall check passed

/usr/sbin/rpm_share[483]: /usr/opt/freeware/bin/rpm:  not found

Installing VRTSnbpck ...

Unpacking VRTSnbpck package.

Failed to install VRTSnbpck status = 20.

         Check /tmp/install_VRTSnbpck.image_trace.39256364 for details.

         Aborting ...

ERROR:   A failure was detected running

         /sysbackup/aix/NBClients/anb/Clients/usr/openv/netbackup/client/RS6000/AIX6/cp_to_client

The missing file already copy to the host, but still installed failed.  May I know the problem ?

Not much of a AIX expert.

Start by taking a look in  /tmp/install_VRTSnbpck.image_trace.39256364 - any clues ?

do a ls -l /usr/opt/freeware/bin/rpm - I expect this binary doesn't exist on the AIX host. Can you confirm ?

Is this AIX running on Power or Z architecture ?

Would you please include additional details? Is this a VM AIX or is this a physical AIX server? I would also check to make sure that any security rules on the AIX host isn't preventing a shell execution out of /tmp on the host. Also check to make sure that the agent s/w bundle has proper root ownership and proper permissions. I've not had any specific issues with NBU agent installs on AIX 7.1 on Power architecture.

The more details you can provide will help us all help you better.
