Hello.

I have two discovered configurations

I already have done a succsessful dissimilar hardware restore for one client using one of the configurations.

Now I am trying to do this for another client, but I get an error "There are no discovered configurations avalable. Please select a configuration from another client". This happen only when I try to restore from this client and only when I am on "Devices & Drivers" tab. Everything is OK on other tabs, like "Network Interfaces", "Volumes", etc.

Please advice.

The reason of this issue:

My Client OS is 32 bits but I discovered the destination with 64bit ISO file and that's why I couldn't see it when I am in 32bit configuration. This happen only on windows administrative console

Bit hard to guess on the problem you are facing without having required details.

As the issue is client specific and also need sufficient information to debug, I would recommend you to open a service ticket with Symantec on this issue. That will help you to get solution faster.

As you said you have done DSR before so must be well known with the process. Still providing you below video links to refer. See if it helps you.

The Device & Drivers TAB is windows specific. This is not there for Unix Clients. Can you verify if the discovered config is indeed a created using Windows PE- --Discovery Task. If the required devices data is missing then it can result in a similar error.

I'm speculating this could be one reason as you mentioned this error is not seen for other tabs.

I can see that this happen when try to "see" a x64 hardware from a x86 configuation. In other cases is OK.

Can this be the reason for that?
