Hello



I am looking to gain my NBU Certification for UNIX.  I will not be attending class, can't afford it.  What documents other than Student Guides help?

Or are there Student guides available for people who did not attend the class?

And have not been able to find any documentation from Symantec or any other author dealing directly with getting certified for NBU.  I'm sure the study guides are only available through classes, but maybe someone on this forum has some study guides they received from classes that they are not using anymore that maybe would sell them for cheap :)

for 5.1.  Thanks to my company, I was able to take training courses.  I wouldnt spend too much time or money searching out study guides - they are not very helpful.  The best documentation you can get is what is out there for free - the documentation out there on support.veritas.com.  Yea, its really dry, but those docs have everything you need to ace the exam.

If I am at your position I would look the exam objectives for Exam 250-265: Data Protection Administration for UNIX using NetBackup 6.5

You can try reading Veritas NetBackup admin guides, if you want to clear exam, as suggested in exam objectives.
