Netbackup Deamon connot be started

Hi,
After unistalling NOM , netbackup deamons nbrs, nbrmms, nbemm, nbevtmgr, nbsvcmon, nbrb and nbpem  are not starting.
Any idea?

You had NOM installed on the master server?
Please share exact steps you took to uninstall NOM.
If you have removed any shared component, Netbackup will stop functioning.
Might be best if you re-install NetBackup and restore your catalogs.
Have you opened a call with Symantec yet?

Check if PBX is installed and running ? If nore re install.
Run nbdb_ping to check the stateof database .

Did you install it on Master server? Symantec recommends not to install NOM on Master server. To install NOM on a server you only need netbackup client. If you have only NetBackup client installed on the system you will not see all the daemons you have listed. If you installed it on Master server and as part of uninstall process you may have chosen to remove all the directories and that may be the reason these daemons are not running.

Rakesh, thanks for you replay, I know that Symantec recommend to not install NOM on the master server.
Marianne, You are right its shared component that causes the issue, i have reinstalled and now it working fine.
