i'v Netbackup 7.6.1.1 Running on windows server 2012 r2 datacenter 64x
after installing new windows and restore catalog i found that the Deduplication Service(engine/manager) is Disabled
and doesn't want to start
Disk Pool is down showing as the follwoing :-

Disk Volume Name : PureDiskVolume
Disk Media ID : @aaaad
Total Capacity (GB) : 5896.87
Free Space (GB) : 3892.51
Use% : 33
Status : DOWN
Flag : ReadOnWrite
Flag : AdminUp
Flag : InternalDown
Num Read Mounts : 0
Num Write Mounts : 1
Cur Read Streams : 0
Cur Write Streams : 0
Num Repl Sources : 0
Num Repl Targets : 0
Kindly Help to start the Deduplication engine and make the disk up againg
PS: I tried nbdevconfig -changestate -stype PureDisk -dp Dedup_Pool -state UP but nothing happens

So, you have recovered a Master server with local MSDP pool?
Have you verified that Data Protection Optimization license key is installed?
Is the storage mounted on the same path as before?
Can you verify credentials as per this post : https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/how-can-i-check-dedup-engine-credential#comment-83295... ?
