Netbackup Enterprise Edition Vs Server

Hi All,

Please let me know the difference between Netbackup Enterprise server and Netbackup server software.

I read some post but didnot get it "Netbackup Enterprise Provides 3 tier architecter Master, Media and Client and Server provides 2 tier"

What does it mean? Could somebody let me know more differences in simple language?

NetBackup Server = Master server and clients (no media servers)

NetBackup Enterprise Server = Master & Media Servers and clients

I look at the url , NetBackup enterprise server has master server, but netbackup server has no master server, right?

No,

Netbackup enterprise server has master server and also you can add Media servers ..

Netbackup server has only 1  server which acts as both Master& Media servers.. you can not add media server to Netbackup server.

No you cannot have a netbackup domain without a Master server. A Master server is like the brain that holds all the information! Reading my first response details that BOTH have a Master.
