Netbackup Issue - status 25 when opening the policy in GUI

Hello Experts,

We have been using Netbackup 7.6.0.3 on Windows 2008 machine.

Of late we have been experiencing issue while opening policies it gives us 3 errors before opening the policy in GUI.

1:- Unable to fetch data classifications status 25 can not connect on socket.

2:- Unable to fetch Indexing servers status 25 can not connect on socket.

3:- Unable to fetch fetch storage life cycle policies cannot connect on socket.

We tried on Java console and same issue is also there.

We tried adding one client on vmware policy by browsing client on VMWARE in Browse and select for virtual machine it says can not conncet on socket (25) and then nothing happens.

Pls help.

check if the netbackup datadase service is running on your master server.

Also add the master server ip to his hosts file and run the command: bpclntcmd -clear_host_cache

This is your clustered master server, right?

Have you verified that all services are running on the active node?

Are you connecting to the virtual hostname or local hostname in the GUI?

Are you using the console on the server or using remote Windows admin console?

Do you have admin log folder on the master? 
If so, please copy to admin.txt and upload here.
Tell us more or less what time you received the error so that we know where to look in the log.

Hi Marianne,

Yes its a cluster server. Yes services were running on the server in the mean while somebody had restarted the NBU sercives on the server and Netbackup moved to another node and its running fine.

Still no idea whether it would run fine on the problemtic one or not.
