Netbackup Java Gui Error after Upgrade from 8.1.1 to 8.1.2

Hi Guys,

after we upgraded the system to 8.1.2 and got the new "Web UI" up and running, we ran into another error.
We opend the Java Admin Gui and went through the menues. Everything seeemed to be normal and at the Device Part we got a Communication error... nbsl Service died, but the server was doing his job.... Only to connect with the Java GUI was gone..

Is there Anybody out who could give us a tip?

Hi,

 

Are you able to get the command "vmoprcmd" output from Master server?

If yes then need nbjlogs log with high verbose from the system you launch the Java console.

Last Friday I got the similar issue for one of a customer. It looks like nbsl is not handling the query within the timeframe.

I haven't found the acknowledgment from Veritas about this issue.

If its urgent for you then I would suggest to log case with Veritas support.

I reviewed NBSL and Java logs provided by you. It looks like the request not reached to NBSL.

nbjlog Log:

Probably this issue will report to next level support. I will update you if I find anything more about this issue.
