Netbackup Media Server Configuation problem

I am running into a problem when trying to configure a
solaris media server with SSO. I have ran through the sg.build, sg.install and I can see the tape drives in /dev/rmt/
I can check the status of them with mt and they state "offline"
but when I try to configure them through the Netbackup
GUI only 1 tape drive and 1 robot is discovered.

We are running solaris 8 with nbu 5.1mp3.
Any ideas?

Try running sgscan to ensure all drives are linked properly.
Ensure the SSO license is in effect.
