Netbackup Migration from SUN to HP hardware

Hi All,

we are going to migrate our Netbackup 7.5 from two tier to three tier architecture.

we have few queries,

1. can we keep Master NBU server as a VM? However we cannot keep Media sever as a VM.

2. And we are going to keep two media server(Linux 6) which are going to handle each two drive .

    Note: the storage unit is Tape library.

could any one give the link for  installation document?

welcome to any ideas or suggestions.

1. Yes. Master can be VM. 2. Physical media servers will be fine. You can find installation and all other NBU docs in 'Handy NBU Links' in my signature.
