we are runing a Netbackup 7.6.0.4 environemnt and a need to give Read-only access to our admin console . not sure how I can get this done or is there someting I can do in operations manager pretty quickly

Hi Yobole, best way would be to give access via Opscenter.
What exactly do you need to provide to your users? Just Activity Monitor view or other views?

Best way is to enable NBAC in your master server and give read only access to a member through NBAC...:)

Even with as much scale down rights as possible, the java console (auth.conf) still give the possibility to run "cancel all jobs" command. If you you are OK with this then take a look at the auth.conf option. See page 1111 in the Netbackup Admin guide for 7.6 "authorizing NetBackup-Java users".
