Hi All,
Need to know the following things for Netbackup Remote Installation.
1:- Can we intall cross platform os client from Netbackup Master i.e Windows to linux, Solaris etc?
2:- Do we require Master server for installating Remote intallation ? Or we can do it from any OS having Netbackup Installion software?

You can do windows to windows and UNIX/LINUX to UNIX/LINUX
For windows, you can remotely install netbackup from any windows system . Start the installation and select the "remote installation" . the system does not have to have netbackup.
For UNIX/LINUX you can push install UNIX/LINUX netbackup clients from any UNIX/LINUX master or media server.

there is also a procedure to upgrade UNIX/LINUX clients from a UNIX/LINUX master or media server
