Netbackup SQL backup to Data Domian

Good day,

We are in the process of moving from our SQL backups from tradtional tape based backups to the Data Domain.

I would like to hear some suggestions around full backup frequency per week vs differential backups and how this inpacts dedup and any performace on the Data Domain.

Some of the DB's are quite large and would also like to hear how some handle those backup frequencies. Im just looking at some ideas.

Talk to your EMC rep - you may be able to use BOOST and write directly to your DD.

I am looking into this as well, since NB SQL restores can be problematic.
