Netbackup Storage Lifecycle Policy Options

I need to get some information on whether and additional option is required for configuring the Storage Lifecycle Policy in Netbackup.

You need to have either Enterprise Disk Licenses, or Deduplication Add-on Licenses if your using traditional licensing model. If you're using platform licensing, its included.

Ok Thanks :) One more question, is the SLP now introduce in traditional licensing? Or was it always an add on feature.

It was always a part of the Enterprise Disk License. Just recently they included it in the Dedupe License. Reasoning behind it is when you run OST devices you probably want to use SLP to duplicate between your devices i.e. DataDomain to DataDomain, or DataDomain to Tape. On the flip side, if you don't use a third party OST device, but rather PureDisk or Media Server dedupe, you'd also want to duplicate between those devices using SLP (but obviously you dont want to buy 1TB Enterpris Disk just for SLP when you've already paid for 1TB dedupe option).
