Dear All,

We are facing snapshot delete issue for some of the Vmware clients, we are using Netbackup 7.6.0.2 and VMware 5.5

Also find attached job details, and let me know if there is any from Netbackup end.

If there is any tech article it would be really helpful.

If you search this document:

Symantec NetBackup 7.6 Emergency Engineering Binary Guide

http://www.veritas.com/docs/000003552

...for the term "snapshot dele" then you will find two references to performance issues re VMware snapshot deletion.  And one of the instances of issues being noted is for your version of "7.6.0.2".  These performance issues may be causing your issue.

It may be worth upgrading to v7.6.0.4 as a minimum, but probably higher if you can.

N.B:  v7.6 of NetBackup goes EOL in February 2017, see:

Exactly which sub-version/update/patch level of VMware vSphere v5.5 are you using?   i.e. which updates, and/or roll-ups/cummulative-updates, and/or patches have been applied?
