Hi Everyone, We have got vulnerabilities for nbatd (13783), we aren't using NBAC so what should be the next step, completely uninstall NBAC so authentication deamon doesn't run or there is way to disable this deamon? Port 5989 is also given by master server with "The remote service accepts connections encrypted using SSL 2.0 and/or SSL 3.0. These versions of SSL are affected by several cryptographic", I am not sure if its pertaining to Netbackup. Please suggest.

Hello,

You can not uninstall the NBAC separately. You can only enable and disable it.

If you found any vulnerabilities then please report to Veritas Support.

What is NBU version on master server?
