Netbackup administration console

Hi

I am running Netbackup on a RHEL6 server using Version 7.6 of Netbackup. When I start the administration console I get the login window but while the mouse works fine I can not enter either a user name or password.

Has anyone seen this issue before ?

The logfile output is as follows:

[root@xxxxxxx bin]# ./jnbSA

        Starting administration console version 7.6.
The log file for this execution instance is
        /usr/openv/netbackup/logs/user_ops/nbjlogs/jbp.root.jnbSA.10105.log

[root@xxxxxxx bin]# cat /usr/openv/netbackup/logs/user_ops/nbjlogs/jbp.root.jnbSA.10105.log

DISPLAY environment variable is set to: nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn:0.0
Console was started on:
        Linux mdnbu01.adsc.empn 2.6.32-431.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Sun Nov 10 22:19:54 EST 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Command line options were:
        ./jnbSA

Starting administration console version 7.6.

I've had the same issue and switched to vcXsrv instead of xming.

Yes - I may be related to the Xserver you are using. I am using MobaXterm and it seems to work as designed.

I do recommend you use Netbackup Java Adminstration console from a Windows host. This is the preffered method.

Did you edit the above or is this a real hostname?  (nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn)?

Hi All

Switched to vcXsrv and it works fine. Many thanks for all your help and advice. And Marianne - yes I did edit the IP address :)
